The Network of Love - Robert Anton Wilson and Satchitananda

This video is my contribution to Maybe Day 2022. Maybe Day is an annual celebration of the life and work of Robert Anton Wilson.

Wilson was a writer, philosopher, and guerrilla ontologist who explored alternative and esoteric subject matter in a humorous and informative way. His career spanned several decades and he is beloved by dedicated fans around the globe.

His work came from a place of kindness, empathy, compassion. He clearly hoped that his work would to serve to reduce suffering in the world.

In this video, I use his poignant writing about the Network of Love as a launching point.

Thoughts on Jungian prejudices regarding gender and sexual orientation

For years now, I’ve talked up Jung’s work (particularly his latter work) to anyone who will listen. I’ve noticed that Jung is misunderstood and/or misrepresented online by people who seem afraid of women rights and LGTBQ+ rights - people like Jordan Peterson. This has led to me to reflect on what Jung’s message really was. Had I in fact been talking up a reactionary figure?
